Forklift driver – Receiving department

About the company
For a modern and large-scale distribution center in Amsterdam Westpoort, we are looking for an experienced forklift driver to work in receiving (goederenontvangst) department. The warehouse covers over 61,000 m² and is equipped with 64 loading docks, making it one of the most advanced logistics locations in the region.
Working hours
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Fixed day shift: 07:00 – 16:00
- Occasional overtimes and Saturdays possible, but not frequent.
Responsabilities:
- Accepting chauffeurs
- Unloading trailers
- Basic work with PC
- Sorting and stacking the goods according the agreed stacking method
- Actual receiving
- Container workers coordination together with team leader
- Basic administration
- Basic reporting to team leader
- Communication with support team
- Mailing
Expectations:
- I am looking for a responsible and reliable worker for receiving team.
- The worker should be able to work standalone, but also must be able to cooperate in a team.
- The worker should have a sense for a detail and be able to spot minor differences.
- The worker must be able to read ASNs (receipts documents) and understand them – we will explain.
- Experience in receiving process is highly appreciated
- Forklift license
- English language
What we offer
- Salary: €15.39 per hour (€2,667.60 per month)
- Weekly payments
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per km (from 10 km and max 40 km per day)
