As a breakdown technician, you are the first point of contact when technical assistance is required. You ensure that our lines keep running and that breakdowns are handled quickly and adequately. You proactively apply your knowledge and skills to further improve our machinery. As part of the Technical Department, it is your task to ensure that our machinery is up and running again as quickly as possible when a breakdown occurs. You locate the faults and know exactly what to do when a production line comes to a standstill.

In addition, you are constantly working on improving our machines and preventing breakdowns through maintenance work and inspections to ensure continuity. To optimally develop your knowledge and skills, you will attend relevant training courses, both internal and external, such as maintenance techniques, troubleshooting, or programming.

In the role of Fault Technician, you spend 60% of your time resolving or working on faults and 40% performing maintenance.

What are you going to do?

  • Quick and adequate resolution of malfunctions within the bakery.
  • investigate and reflect on how malfunctions occurred and not only resolve the consequences but also the causes.
  • carrying out (preventive) maintenance work.
  • assist with the further development and optimization of our department as a whole.
  • working in a 4-shift system that aligns as much as possible with a 5-shift system, which comes with attractive bonuses.

What do we ask of you?

  • Collegiality,  is willing to help others and does so in a friendly manner, is integrous, gives his opinion sincerely, and admits mistakes.
  • Service-oriented,  tries to put themselves in others’ shoes, and thinks along with our organization.
  • Knowledge  of control engineering and industrial automation, and of low and high voltage. A degree in mechatronics or electrical engineering is a plus, or knowledge gained through experience.
  • Experience  in analyzing, locating, and resolving faults in electrical installations.
