Job Description
As a Loader in the transport department, you play an important role in ensuring our deliveries leave on time and correctly prepared. During weekday evening shifts and occasional Saturday daytime shifts, you work together with the team to load and unload trucks and prepare orders for our drivers so they can start their routes fully prepared.
Your main responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers, moving bread carts to the correct locations, disposing of leftover bread in the designated bread waste machine, preparing orders, and operating pallet trucks and stackers. You also help keep the transport department clean and organized.
This is an active and physical job where you are on your feet throughout the day and regularly moving bread carts around the warehouse. It is therefore important that you are physically fit and do not mind hands-on work or cleaning tasks.
Working hours:
- Salary between €16.47 – €19.48 per hour + shift allowance
- Weekday shifts usually start between 14:00 and 18:00 and end between 00:00 and 02:00
- Saturday shifts are daytime shifts, typically from 08:00 until 15:00
- Fulltime employees work 5 days per week
- If you work on Saturday, you will receive another day off during the week
- Evening and night hours come with attractive shift allowances
What we are looking for:
- Physically fit and comfortable with active work
- Team player with a practical mentality
- Willing to work evening shifts and occasional Saturdays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Does not mind cleaning and keeping the workplace organized
This position is also a great starting point for people who want to grow within the transport department. Many trainee drivers begin in this role before progressing into a driver position.
