Job Description
Our client is a progressive steel company that is constantly evolving. At our Dordrecht location, within the production department, we have an opening for a trainee plasma cutting machine operator. You will receive full training, and there is ample room for your own input.
Job description:
- Operating the plasma cutting machine in a 2-shift system
- Full-time with the prospect of a permanent contract
- You will receive full training on-site
- Equip the machine with steel plates and subsequently clear the cut product
- Sorting, labeling, etc. products
- All other activities related to the operation of the plasma cutting machine
- Products are for example for shipbuilding, machinery, and bridge building
Job requirements:
- You have completed a metalworking education at MBO level 2
- You are motivated
- You are willing to learn everything in the metal world
- Operating the overhead crane, obtaining a certificate
- Sufficient technical understanding
- You have sufficient knowledge of metals
- You can read a drawing
- You can work independently, neatly, and safely
- You have a go-getter mentality
- You don’t have a 9 to 5 mentality

In addition to the conditions of the Metal and Technology Collective Labour Agreement (including 24 personal leave days and 13 ADV days), a competitive salary depending on experience of 2,700 – 3,000 euros per month, plus 8% holiday allowance.
